Chris graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz/Commercial Music for guitar. Chris has performed with a variety of groups around Southern California. He has performed in settings and styles ranging from rock, pop, r&b, gospel and jazz. Along with performing, Chris has a passion for writing and recording original music and actively works in recording studios creating music with local artists in the LA area and across the United States.
As a teacher, Chris values giving his students a fun, patient and safe environment for learning. He focuses on developing their fundamental and technical skills so that they will find enjoyment playing music. Chris believes that the ultimate goal of teaching is to propel students’ creativity in finding their own voice on their instrument.
