VOICE
Erica Schaeffer is a graduate of University of California, Irvine where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre. She became involved in the performing arts at a young age, beginning her dance training at 3 years old, her singing journey at 10 years old, and then acting once arriving at high school. Since graduating from UCI, she has been working professionally as a performer and as an arts educator.
Erica believes in creating a joyful and compassionate educational environment, where students are given a solid foundation of technique in an encouraging and engaging way. Emphasizing “process vs. product,” Erica’s lessons are a safe place to learn, explore, and be perfectly imperfect. She promotes the idea of healthy/sustainable singing, so students can grow and enjoy their instrument confidently for years to come. She also loves working with students on the storytelling aspect of a song, regardless of genre (musical theatre, pop/rock, etc!). Erica is excited to help you with your vocal goals and have fun while doing it!
