Voice
Rachel Schlenz has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from California State University of Los Angeles, with an emphasis in vocal and choral studies. Throughout her time at CSULA, she performed extensively in Jazz combos and theatre works, including arranging her own jazz pieces for her senior recital, and a starring role as Adele in CSULA’s 2017 production of Die Fledermaus. Since graduating, she sings professionally every week and she sings with The Music Companie, a prestigious caroling company in the greater Los Angeles area during Holiday Season.
Her education at CSULA and her years of teaching experience have made her well versed in foundational classical literature, as well as in contemporary popular styles, including jazz, and musical theater. She takes the time to develop individualized lesson plans to maximize each student’s unique potential and strengthen each student’s unique weakness. Rachel places an emphasis on healthy technique and passionate performance, in a manner that is inspiring for all ages and levels.
