Piano
Meeree Kim is a pianist, composer, arranger and passionate educator.
She was a World Tour Scholarship recipient at Berklee College of Music and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in music performance. After graduating from Berklee, she continued her musical journey by moving to New York City and studying Jazz at New York University. During her years in New York, she got to study under and play with legendary jazz musicians at local clubs such as Blue Note. Her mentors include Dr. Dave Schroeder, Alan Broadbent, Lenny White, Alex Sipiagin, and Stefon Harris. They influenced her to not only become a jazz musician but an individual who can use music as a tool to serve and inspire others. She has performed everywhere from schools, clubs, cafes, to churches and ballet shows.
Meeree is very passionate in educating a new generation of musicians, regardless of their age. She was a member of the Music Mentoring program and an adjunct instructor at NYU. After relocating to California, she has been focusing on music education and working as a professional piano instructor.
