Encore’s Student Showcases are unique opportunities for students to showcase songs that they have been working on with their instructors. There are four showcases every year, allowing plenty of opportunities to perform, without having to wait all year. Students are encouraged to prepare one song of their choice, and are guided through the process with their private instructors.

Performance Requirements

Each performer is required to sign up for the showcase online.  Performance fees are due at the time of signing up. Performance fees are non-refundable. Each student must have attended a minimum of 12 private lessons since their last performance, in order to be eligible to perform. Performer must not miss their final two weeks of private lessons, leading up to the date of the performance. Performers demonstrating a lack of preparation and attendance may be withheld from the showcase at any time.

Performers must be not be late for any call times, and must always show a positive attitude during rehearsals and performances. Encore will not tolerate any disrespectful behavior towards any other performer, instructor, band member, or venue staff.

Band Accompaniment/Rehearsal

Students are highly encouraged to perform with our live house band. Our live house band includes, guitar, drums, bass, keyboard and vocals. Performing with a band of pro musicians is an experience that is not only memorable, but creates a very real performance experience. The band will also be there to support, and help each performer through the rehearsal and show. Every performer being accompanied by the band is required to attend a mandatory rehearsal, prior to the performance. Failure to attend the rehearsal will result in not being able to perform.

Photography/Video
Professional photography is provided by Encore School Of Music for every showcase. Photography is taken throughout the entire performance with several shots of each performer. Photos can be viewed on our website, shortly after each performance.  Personal photography is allowed but we do ask audience members to remain in their seats during each performance. Our professional photographer will ensure the highest quality shots and angles. Photos enlargements are also available for purchase on our website.

Video taken by Encore School Of Music is strictly for marketing purposes and can not be distributed to performers.

ALL PERFORMERS MUST SIGN A WAIVER FORM FOR PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO.

Showcase Fees/Application Deadline

All fees are due when signing up for the showcase. All performers must be submit our online application and have all fees paid for in order to participate.  Fees include professional photography, unlimited admission, red carpet photos and a certificate.  PERFORMANCE FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND CANNOT BE CREDITED FOR FUTURE PERFORMANCES.

Space is limited for all of our showcases so we encourage students to complete the application, and pay all showcase fees as soon as possible. Once our spots fill up, students will not be able to apply.
